Weather Shield Single and Double Hung Window Parts & Hardware

Single hung windows allow the bottom sash ( glass with frame) to move vertically for ventilation from the bottom of window. The top glass is fixed in the frame.

Double hung windows allow the top and bottom sash ( glass with frame) to move vertically for ventilation from the top or bottom of window.

Double hung windows tilt-in for easy cleaning and can be ventilated from the top or bottom.

When looking for wood, vinyl, vinyl clad wood, aluminum clad wood or fiberglass windows, Weather Shield has the right products.

When tilting window in to clean glass, raise window 2-3 inches, retract latches and pull gently inward.

When closing window, retract latches and push in to the operating position, then release latches.

Never slam the window shut, this breaks the finger latches.
